The intricate science of Entomology acts as a starting point for Natural Selection’s Autumn/Winter 2015 collection. Both structured and geometric yet chaotic and organic, this juxtaposition has allowed the brand to further explore the idea of ‘ordered chaos’, originally conceived for Spring/Summer 2015. Soft tailoring and linear cut denim serve to perpetuate this idea and highlight the contrasting nature of the collection. Colours are dark and rich with indigo, black, purple and green recurring throughout. Elements of the insect’s wing can be seen in the iridescent, reflective memory-tech fabric used on outerwear. The cell like quilting on sweats cements the central theme and introduces texture amongst the sleek neoprene pieces.
